Even during “Hard Instances” and wartime, individuals have to be entertained. Just as McLuhan was exploring media’s effect on humans, so too were artists seeking to get away from the popular Abstract Expressionist portray movement and reinvent themselves by means of experimentation with the inventive and spontaneous form of efficiency.

An appreciation for artwork begins at a very early age; recognizing this and understanding that as we speak’s young people are the key to our continued success, West Ox Arts is also dedicated to developing an outreach programme focused on enhancing the access students need to an education within the visible arts, by providing in-classroom visits by professional artists and welcoming college students to visit the Gallery where they are going to be encouraged to ponder and focus on the exhibitions on show.
